[ the moment dan heng is settled, yingxing draws back to fetch that water while the bath begins to fill. he fills an entire glass pitcher with frigid ice water, then snags a glass and hurries back up the stairs again.

he's not surprised to find that dan heng has stripped down already - he'd sweat clean through his clothing, and with as how hot he was all over, yingxing can hardly blame him for wanting to get into the water immediately. so he steps over dan heng's clothing on the floor, then makes absolutely, completely sure to keep his eyes on dan heng's face as he leans in to set the glass and pitcher down on a shelf by the tub. his cloudhymn disguise has dissipated fully by now, leaving dan heng looking..

.. well, so much like his brother, for one, but still very different. his face is softer, rounder where dan feng's is sharp, his eyes gentler, his horns less angular. there are similarities, sure, but for someone who knows them both very well, the difference between them is obvious. but damn, he's even more beautiful like this than he is normally, and that's saying something -
